Gregory J. Garville

Mr. Garville is a Senior Executive Advisor with Brookside Equity Partners LLC specializing in origination and execution. Mr Garville is a private equity professional with over 30 years of principal investment experience in both privately held and publicly traded companies. He has completed over 50 equity, debt and M&A transactions primarily with middle market companies and has extensive experience managing portfolio companies and turnaround situations. Mr. Garville's industry experience includes: advertising, experiential marketing, public relations, distribution services, specialized staffing, commercial & digital printing, food products, packaging, direct marketing, corporate & incentive travel, and logistics.
In 2014, he founded Garville Corp. which advises owners of privately held middle market businesses on a number of strategic initiatives including: mergers and acquisitions, re-financings, partial liquidations, succession planning and turnarounds. Prior to starting Garville Corp., Mr. Garville served for 16 years as President of Union Capital Corporation, a Private Equity firm that specializes in investing in middle market companies. He was also President of Mickelberry Communications Inc. and held executive positions with Praxair Inc.
Mr. Garville serves on Marist College’s School of Management Advisory Board and for six years was a board member for Eva’s Village, a NJ based anti-poverty organization. He and his wife are involved in a number of initiatives which strive to reduce poverty and promote education among the less fortunate. Mr. Garville received an MBA with Honors and Distinction from Long Island University and BA from Marist College.
